MISSION STATEMENT |
The
mission of the sound ministry is to provide spiritual growth,
development, and guidance to members and guests at First Baptist
Church. We serve by insuring that God's messages are recorded
and available to First Baptist members, friends and visitors. We
record Church services and other activities so that everyone may be
given the opportunity to receive God's blessing and strengthen their
Christian faith.

GOALS |

Develop and organize an effective
ministry that provides a mechanism for members and guests to gain
emotional support and spiritual guidance through the delivery of
recorded sermons and messages.

Insure that God's messages are
accessible and expeditiously delivered to First Baptist members
and guest.

Record church services and special
events at First Baptist.

Provide copies of recorded messages
for the Deacons and Deaconesses to donate to the sick and shut-in
at no cost.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARTICIPATION |

The sound ministry continues to
actively seek energetic individuals (youth and adults) to serve on
this ministry.
-
Interested individual must be
available at least one Sunday per month to record 7:45 and/or
11:00 a.m. services. Must also be available for special
events when requested.

Training will be provided on the
operation and breakdown of all sound equipment and the inventory
process.
