MISSION STATEMENT |
Unite together individuals in a fuller understanding and participation in the responsibility for witness and ministry. To work to cultivate a missionary conviction into the hearts of all the church members and to promote prayer priority for mission concerns. To contribute regularly to the support of the mission and ministry objectives of First Baptist Church Vienna and support the broadening of our youth involvement. |
GOALS |
To learn first because we cannot teach what we do not know and what we don't know, we cannot teach. Then following God's mandate for missions: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, 10, 1 am with you always, even unto the end of the world." (Matthew 28:19-20) Which is why we are working toward 100% participation in attending bible study, Sunday school, Prayer and Praise to ready ourselves for teaching. |
