church and individuals through prayer.

Picks up children and adults in the surrounding areas and brings them to
Sunday School and Worship Services. Attends to other transportation needs of the church.

Provides church with Christian education direction.

Administrative support for the church.

Serves as a link between the church and our colelge students.

| Computer Ministry |
Provides computer related support to the church, including the church local
area network and web site.

Provides Christian fellowship and ministry opportunities for couples.

Assists members with small loans and encourages savings.

| Deacon |
Assists the Pastor in the pastoral and spiritual needs of the congregation.

| Deaconess |
Assists the Pastor and Deacons in the pastoral and spiritual needs of the church.

| Epistle Staff |
Keeps the church informed of the activities of the members and the events of the church.

| Evangelism |
Shares the Gospel message in the community door-to-door, church,and home.

| Floral |
Sees that the church has altar flowers every Sunday.

| Health and Wellness (HANDS) |
Promotes wholesome and sound health philosophies and practices.

| Hospitality |
Serves in the preparation of meals for the church and church directed community needs.

| Investment Ministry |
Provides investment perspectives, discussion, and opportunities.

| Junior Usher Ministry |
Aids in making and keeping the sanctuary in a commodious manner for worship.

| Men's Ministry |
Provides support, fellowship, encouragement for each man to develop a true and fruitful
relationship with the Lord and all mankind.

| Missionary Committee |
Ministers to the needs of others by spreading the Gospel through words and deeds.

| New Members Committee |
Orients new members to the First Baptist environment.

| Nursery Ministry |
Provides a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for children and infants of First Baptist.

Assists and encourages the Pastor.

Supports and counsels individuals who are incarcerated.

| Saturday Bible Study |
The Saturday Bible Study was started as a study for “beginners”, i.e., for those
who felt they were not well versed in the Bible and wanted to get to know the basics.

Provides encouragement, support and opportunities for seniors.

Aids in making and keeping the sanctuary in a commodious manner for worship.

Provides Christian fellowship, encouragement and opportunities for singles.

Records church services and special events at First Baptist.

| Stephen Ministry |
Provides spiritual support and encouragement to the grieved and hurt.

| Trustees |
Maintains the physical structure and serves as a business agent for the church.

| Uniques |
Serves as a support group for senior citizens and others. Involved in mission, social,
and spiritual activities.

| Vacation Bible School |
Shares with our community the saving grace of our Lord and Savior and enhances
the spiritual knowledge of our members and guests.
|
| Women's Ministry |
Serves as a support group for the women of the church to enhance emotional,
physical, and spiritual well-being.
|
| Worship and Arts Ministry |
Together, we help to lift up a joyous praise to our Lord through singing,
playing of instruments, and performing arts.

| Youth |
FBCV youth are supported with Christian education, personal development and leadership training,
Christian social events and community outreach programs through the Young Adults Ministry (YAMs), Young Disciples of Christ (YDOC), Patterns,
Boys 2 Men, Children's Church, Tutorial Program, and Nursery.
